Spring Hill and the Gulf Coast

The villa is situated in a quiet, friendly, residential area of Spring Hill. Your neighbours will be people who live there—charming, friendly and helpful.

Spring Hill

In the immediate area there are beautiful beaches, 10 golf courses (you can play at very reasonable rates), lakes, a river to canoe down, and an abundance of wildlife.

You can also go horse riding or bowling, play volleyball, watch the latest movies at multi-screen cinemas, eat out at a full range of restaurants, or browse round the many department stores and boutiques.

The Nature Coast

Much of the area between Highway 19 and the sea is untouched. Just up the road is beautiful Bayport, for fishing, relaxing and watching the glorious sunsets. 20 miles of very easy driving takes you to Homosassa Springs (see the Manatees) or 6 miles further on is Crystal River (hire a boat), both very good days out. If you want something completely different, head south to St Pete's or Clearwater for fine white sandy beaches and beautiful sea. Or stop at any of the numerous towns on the way. Or enjoy a day out at the family adventure park, Busch Gardens (Tampa).

There is no shortage of opportunities for sea fishing, or boat trips to spot the dolphins—and many more ways to relax and have fun.
